PRMC/TAMC Balanced Scorecard: What is it?
PRMC/TAMC Balanced Scorecard: What is it?
The Army Medical Command, Pacific Regional Medical Command and Tripler Army Medical Center use a management tool called “the Balanced Scorecard and Strategy Map” as a framework to translate our mission and vision into action. The Balanced Scorecard communicates the Army Chief of Staff’s imperatives, the Surgeon General’s strategic vision and goals, and the Army Medical Department’s strategy to our staff. We use the tool to focus our efforts towards accomplishing our mission, monitor our progress in reaching our goals, and continuously improve our performance.

Patient in Rheumatology Service on 17 AUG 2009:
"My visit with Dr. Griffith was excellent. The patient education was outstanding and all staff was kind and courteous. Thank you"
Orthopedic Clinic Patient on 18 AUG 2009:
"Dr. Jex has gone above and beyond as a doctor for my daughter, he has added a personal touch to her care that is not often seen anymore by doctors and it is much appreciated. Dr Jex is professional and caring and a more than excellent provider and surgeon. After my daughter’s surgery, he even called us at home to check on her status and well being which I have never seen a doctor do, he consistently shows his compassion for his patients and his profession."
Ward 5B2 (Mother/Baby Ward) Patient on 18 AUG 2009:
"I found that the best nurses in Tripler work at the well baby unit. Staff is willing to help you in caring for baby when you really need it. nurse Melissa was most helpful when I had questions and took the time to answer them. She also took the time to take great care of me and my baby."
Adult Medicine Clinic Patient on 19 AUG 2009:
"The provider and the assisting staff were found to be extremely knowledgeable, kind, compassionate and really made me feel like I was their main concern. Dr Ehrlich was on point when he spoke of my condition and I found him to be one of the best doctors I have dealt with in my 20 Years in the Army."
Brace Shop (orthopedic) patient on 18 AUG 2009:
"I had the pleasure to be seen by "Sonny" P. Outstanding service. Answered all my questions and thoroughly explained everything. Very knowledgeable and has an excellent attitude. True asset to the Tripler team."
Emergency Room Patient on 23 AUG 2009:
"My mother fell ill yesterday and was not able to fly as a result. I took her to Tripler and we found the best and fastest care that either one of us have had from any of the service hospitals. We signed in, registered, triage nurse, moved to a room, and saw the doctor (all within one hour). To the both of us this seemed amazing. All of the staff was phenomenal and the Doctor took the time to explain everything to us. I'm currently stationed here with the Coast Guard and I was really impressed at how everyone took care of my mother and treated her with dignity and respect. Please give a huge Mahalo to everyone that was involved with her care. She is feeling much better today and will be able to fly home in a couple of days. Thank you again for the best care in my mom's 41 years of being a dependant with the service and taking great care of her. Everyone there does a tremendous job and should be recognized."
