Mail Room/Post Office

Personnel assigned to Tripler will report to the Mail and Distribution Center during inprocessing for instructions on mailing procedures. Patients who can leave the ward can pick up mail at the service window of the Mail and Distribution Center located on the first floor, C-Wing next door to the Post Office. For patients who cannot leave the ward, the Mail and Distribution Center delivers the patient mail once a day, Monday through Friday, except for weekends and holidays. There are mail drops at the Post Office and at the G-Wing, Mountainside entrance. Patients must use the following return address:

The Mail and Distribution Center hours of operation are:

  • Mon - Fri 10:00 a.m. - 4 p.m.

General Delivery:

  • Mon - Fri 10:00 a.m. - 4 p.m.

The mailroom is closed weekends and holidays.

Post Office hours of operation are:

  • Monday - Friday. 8:00 a.m. 11:00 a.m.
  • Post Office is closed on weekends and holidays.

Upon discharge, personnel are required to complete a DA Form 3955 (Change of Address Card). This will enable your mail to be forwarded to your address. For any other information, contact the Mail and Distribution Center at 433-5827/6816.
