Tripler Welcomes TriWest to Hawaii

TriWest Healthcare Alliance Corporationís Hawaii Market Vice President Karl Kiyokawa (seated, left) joins Col. Stephanie Marshall, Tripler Army Medical Center commander (seated, right), in signing a Memorandum of Understanding to formalize TriWestís partnership with Tripler Army Medical Center effective July 1.††† TriWest had earlier won a Department of Defense TRICARE contract to provide health insurance services for Hawaii and 19 other Western states for the next five years. TriWest brings eight years of military healthcare experience to Hawaii.

Representing Tripler at the signing ceremony on July 1 were (standing, from left), Managed Care Divisionís Col. Suzanne Evans, Chief of Staff Col. Frederick Gargiulo, Clinical Serviceís Navy Capt.
