TAMC Student In-processing Guide


1.  IN-PROCESSING LOCATION:  Medical Eduction Office, Room 9A008A, 9th Floor, A-Wing, Tripler Army Medical Center (TAMC).  Normal Office Hours: 7:00 a.m. to 3:00 p.m., Monday through Friday.

2.  MEDICAL EDUCATION IN-PROCESSING OFFICE HOURS:  7:30 a.m. to 11:30 a.m., Monday and Wednesday (except holidays).  If a holiday falls on a Monday, then in-processing will be held on Tuesday.  If there is a conflict with this schedule, contact the Clerkship Coordinator to schedule a time.

    a.  June through October:

        (1)  Military:

            (a)  Health Professional Scholarship Program (HPSP), Reserve Officer Training Corps (ROTC), All Guard Units, and All Reserves:

  8:30 a.m. A to G   9:15 a.m. N to S
  8:45 a.m. H to M   9:30 a.m. T to Z

            (b)  Uniformed Services University of the Health Sciences (USUHS):

  7:30 a.m. MS-3 OB / GYN
  7:45 a.m. MS-3 Pediatrics
  8:00 a.m. MS-3 Psychiatry
  8:15 a.m. All MS-4 USUHS
  9:00 a.m. MS-3 Medicine

        (2)  Civilians:

            (a)  10:00 a.m. to 11:00 a.m.:  University of Hawaii (Medical Students and Residents), Kapiolani Community College, Pharmacy, Physical Therapy, Social Work, Psychology, Physician Assistants, Foreign Students / Residents, Podiatry, Health Information Management trainees and all other specialities.

            (b)  12:30 p.m. to 1:00 p.m.:  Missed Appointments and Late Arrivals.

            (c)  1:00 p.m. to 1:30 p.m.:  Available for Questions / Concerns.

    b.  November through May:  In process anytime (no appointment needed).
NOTE: Due to the USUHS military students in-processing every six weeks throughout the year, students may occasionally encounter some wait time when in-processing during these months.
